Lets Start making Saag Paneer at home
To Make Saag Paneer We need :
- Spinach or Palak 200 - 300 gram
- 100 grams Paneer / Or you can use Tofu (Syabeen Paneer)
- Meera Spices Paneer Masala Powder
- 4-5 Garlic Cloves (Chopped)
- 2 small pieces of Ginger
- 2 Green Chilli
- 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- Salt as per Taste
Cooking Process (Indian Style)
Saag Gravy Preparation Cooking:
Boil 500 ml of Water in a Pan and add 1/2 teaspoon Sugar to it . (Tip this makes the Color of Spinach / Paalak / Saag to its natural green color after the boil)Boil the Spinach Saag for at least 2 minutes
Transfer the Drained Paalak into the Cold/ice Water Bowl,
After a minute blend the Paalak (Spinach Saag ) to a semi-plain Paste. Keep it aside.
Put 3 tablespoons of Meera Mustard Oil and add Chopped Garlic, Ginger,Meera Paneer Masala (2 spoon) , garam masala, and pour in the Spinach paste into it. Keep it with half covered for 3- 4 minutes. Now the Saag Paneer Gravy is Ready .
Transfer those fried Paneers into the Spinach Paste
Paneer Fry
In a Kadai / Pan heat some oil and fry Small Pieces of Paneer cubes / Tofu cubes.Transfer those fried Paneers into the Spinach Paste
Put some Delicacy of Indian Style Tadka to it
For Tadka - Just fry some red chilies in a spoon of Desi Ghee/ Clarified Butter, Put Jeera or Cummin, then some chopped Garlic. And spred over the Saag Paneer .You can Have the Best taste of Saag Paneer with Chapati/Roti or Parantha.
